    Sebastien NEUVILLE is the Director of the Master 2 Secteur Financier.

    Born on April 21, 1965 in Sainte-Adresse (76), he first attended university in Paris, before completing his studies in the Faculty of Law of Toulouse, by obtaining his PhD in Law. His thesis on “the plan in private law”, presented on September 26, 1994, obtained the highest distinction with the congratulations of the jury. It was published, in the Library of private law (volume 296) of the general Bookshop of Law and jurisprudence (LGDJ).

    Since September 1st, 1995, he has been a lecturer of private law at the University of Toulouse 1 and he has been directing research (HDR) since July 4, 2002.
His teaching and research relate to the law of banking and the financial markets, the law of competition and the law of consumption. He also teaches philosophy of law in his quality of assistant editor of the Centre of philosophy and general theory of law.
He is a member of the Council of the Faculty of Law of Toulouse and the Commission of specialists in private law and history of law in Toulouse.

    In addition, thanks to many contacts with the professional environment, he has published a book entitled “Banking Law and the financial markets”, by the University Press of France (PUF), in the collection Basic Law (September 2005). He is a member of the European Association of banking and financial law (AEDBF).
